Although Chi straighteners are expensive, they are a great investment. I've had mine going on 3 years now and have never had a problem with it. Before i use it, my hair is frizzy, poofy, and wild, but after running it once quickly, my hair becomes soft, silky, and super straight.
I've used other straighteners before, and because my hair is extremely thick, it usually takes 45 minutes or so to get it completely straight. But with a Chi, it only takes me 20 minutes, MAX. Other straighteners make my hair feel dry and fried, but that is never the case with my Chi.
Overall, i would highly recommend a Chi flat iron to anyone and everyone! In combination with the right hair products, your hair will come out like a supermodel!

I absolutely LOVE my CHI. Its the only straightener that auctually straightens my hair. Where i'm from we have horrible humidity problems, but when i use my Chi flat iron i don't have to worry, my hair won't frizz or anything. Chi is the only product i would use in my hair.
